Announced all the way back in January 2010 during CES, the ultra-thin Bookeen Cybook Orizon is finally getting ready to come to market as the ereader has been listed in no less than 17 countries across Europe, just in time for the Holiday shopping season. Computer maker Asus has launched a new 9-inch screen ereader called the asus Eee Reader DR900. San francisco â Despite ongoing public battles over the health care overhaul signed into law earlier this year, health care remains a deeply personal matter. Unfortunately because of compatibility and digital rights management issues, at the present time only the Barnes and Noble Nook, and ereaders from Sony, Kobo, Literati or Pandigital are to take a close look at the ereaderâs screen. The $214 nine-inch device is powered by Android and is offered through Barnes & Noble’s ebookstore. If your holiday gift list includes a new ereader or another electronic device, visit the Nassau Digital Doorway on the Garden City Public Libraryâs website to find out which devices are compatible with the Libraryâs free downloadable service. The JCPenney Cyber Monday 2010 event is the retailer’s biggest ever offering over 40,000 deals. The Iowa City Public Library has more than 900 ebooks to choose from and the collection continues to grow.
