"MTV, owned by parent company Viacom, Inc. (NYSE:VIA.B), has selected comedian Chelsea Handler to host the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards, and Handler is already pumping up rumors of a Kanye West-Taylor Swift reunion. 35-year-old Handler told Ryan Seacrest on his KISS-FM radio show this week, ""I'd like to get them together. We've never really seen them together since. They were supposed to be together on SNL, but then that didn't up happening."" At the 2009 VMA's, Swift's acceptance speech for the best female video award was cut off by West onstage; West thought Beyonce deserved the win for her ""Single Ladies"" tune. His antic spurred the now notorious ""Kanye West interrupting meme"" seen all over the Internet. Viewers will find out whether Handler's comedic prowess will be able to reunite the two stars this year, as West has tweeted about taming his ego lately, the night of Sunday, September 12.
