Most, if not all, PC users know what is a registry cleaner. Most people will think that a registry cleaner is to fix errors in their operating system. The good thing is that it is the correct answer. Many PC users used such a program for their Windows XP or Vista system. They are aware it can boost the system’s performance. So is it the same when we talk about registry cleaners for Windows 7 ?Here Windows 7 registry cleaners you will find good infos about Windows 7 Registry Cleaners.

Many computer’s users did not have time to test the new Windows 7. So to ask them a question like “Are Windows 7 Registry Cleaners worth it” will give no answer. But if we were to ask the same question to the developers of such registry cleaners, we will get some pretty good replies. They did create registry cleaners fully tested to optimize Windows 7 and to fix any errors it will find. Those people know pretty well Windows and how it works. This website registry cleaners has very good reviews about registry cleaners while this one remote computer repair is a great online service dedicated to repair any problems on your computer.

The question “Are Windows 7 Registry Cleaners worth it ?” is still pending and not answered. Before we have to know that Windows 7 will use the System Registry the same way it did with Vista (or XP). This doesn’t mean you can use a registry cleaner for Vista on Windows 7, it only means that as the registry remains on the same structure, the problems are still there.

Even if the Windows registry has no problems, you can use a program like a registry cleaner to change the configuration of Windows. Its great and nice interface make it a great tool for that purpose unlike the one coming with Windows. So to configure your Windows 7, all you have to do is to change values in the System Registry. It is more safe with a registry cleaner than with the one coming with Windows. Because if you do make an error, your system might not work anymore.

So let’s answer the following “Are Windows 7 Registry Cleaners worth it”. Most of us already know the answer: yes they are worth it, as much as any cleaners for the previous operating systems were.

Many of us out there chose not to get Windows Vista installed on our new computers. Instead we either opted for XP or downgraded from vista to XP. With all the good things being said about Windows 7 many of us are ready to give it a shot XP to Windows 7 upgrade. There is just one big problem. Microsoft has not come out with a direct upgrade path to upgrade XP to Windows 7.

I know I’m not the only one out there who is a little steamed about Microsoft not coming out with a way for XP users to migrate over to Windows 7. XP is a decade old and Microsoft is not supporting it any more and that is the reason they did not provide and option out there for the upgrade. I am still perplexed by this. There is one data transfer company out there that has come up with a solution to upgrade your operating system. For the life of me I don’t know why a third party vendor could make such a tool yet Microsoft was not able to or did not want to. Follow the above link in this article to learn more about this little software program that can do the upgrade for you.

What Options do You have?

An option you do have is to wipe out the XP drive and install Windows 7. If you went with this option you would first need to ensure you have backed up your personal files and settings and you would also have to re-install all your software programs. A good site to check out on backing up files and doing file transfers is this pc to pc file transfer site.

A very complicated way to do this is to first upgrade to Vista and then over to Windows 7. This would require you to buy Vista for the sole purpose of using it as an upgrade tool. So you would not only have to purchase Windows 7 but another operating system that you do not plan on using. That is why we recommend using the only software known to XP to Windows 7 upgrade.

Many of you out there will agree when I say Shenanigans. On the flip side of things the new operating system is getting some very good reviews. One thing you should do before doing an upgrade is to run the Windows 7 Upgrade Adviser program. It’s free from Microsoft and it will let you know if all your hardware and software programs are compatible. In many cases people will need to update some drivers like their video card or printer drivers to get those devices to work on Windows 7.

The ultimate error message in Windows XP is the blue screen. The blue screen contains many lines of text that means nothing to most users, except that they know that once they see it, there is nothing they can do except to restart the computer, and hope that it doesn’t happen again.

The thing is, once a blue screen shows up, it is almost a given that it will show up again in future, perhaps with an increasing frequency. When there is a blue screen, it means that Windows has just crashed and that something is quite wrong with it. Usually the root cause of most errors in Windows is the Windows registry.

The Windows registry is a system database of information. Windows and other software store a lot of settings and other information in it, and retrieve such information from the registry all the time. The registry is also a bottleneck in that because it is the heart of the operating system, any problems with it can cause errors and bring the operating system down.

Registry problems are common because many programs often leave obsolete or wrong data inside the registry. It bloats over time, and begins to degrade in performance and cause issues. It used to be that fixing registry problems were the domain of experts who could manually look through all the entries in this potentially huge registry as they hunt for errors. Nowadays, it’s thankfully much easier.

Registry cleaner software make this tedious and risky task much easier. Any mistakes when changing the registry can cause more damage to the operating system, so using a software tool to do this makes more sense. A registry cleaner who comprehensively go through every entry in the registry, look for problems and fix them. Good cleaners also offer backup and restore functions for more security. By using such a tool, it can resolve all the errors in the registry and prevent Windows errors like the blue screen from happening.

Windows XP is one of the most popular and longest-lasting versions of Windows to-date. Despite its age, it is still being used in a majority of computers, its reliability and speed being good reasons why people refuse to switch to newer versions.

While this trusty workhorse pretty much runs itself, Windows XP suffers from one problem common to most versions of Windows: the registry. The Windows registry is a central database of information which Windows and other applications use to store settings and other information. While the idea of having a central repository is good, the problem is that the registry is susceptible to bloat and errors introduced by applications when they store information in it. In addition, information that is outdated or no longer needed is left in the registry. As you can see, the registry will, after some time, perform less than optimally.

This is an easy problem to solve, however. With the use of a good registry cleaner software, the whole task of scanning through the potentially huge registry in search of duplicate, obsolete and erroneous entries is now automatically performed, and the problem areas fixed. A good registry cleaner also has backup and restore functions to ensure that the registry is safe and any changes to it can be rolled back. In fact such safety features cannot be over-emphasized on. Some low-end registry cleaners do not have good safety features, and I’ve testing a few which damaged my registry and I had to restore Windows from a backup I manually did prior to testing.

The problem with evaluating registry cleaners is that it’s time-consuming, and as I mentioned before, any problems will mean that one has to restore the whole operating system from a backup. I used to format my Windows machines once every 4 months due to performance degradation. These machines are heavily used for development work and testing of various software. But after going through various registry cleaners, I’ve settled on one called “Perfect Optimizer”, which is now being used on all the computers.

There is now no need to reformat and install Windows periodically to remove errors and gain back good speed performance. With “Perfect Optimizer”, all the problems in the registry are fixed and it performs various optimizations so the computers run fast again.

A good registry cleaner will help keep your Windows system in good shape and performing optimally. If you are unsure which registry cleaner to use, you can take a look at these reviews of registry cleaners.
